We are so very excited that you'll be joining us for our Spring Sampler block of the month program! Here are some important tools that you'll need to gather before you begin!

Gather your tools! You will need the following to piece your quilt!
1. Rotary rulers (6" x 24" or similar, plus a smaller square or rectangle), rotary cutter, and mat.
2. A temporary fabric marking tool or water-soluable marker.
  1. We love this Sewline 3-in-1 pencil.
  2. We HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT USE frixon markers.
3. Good sharp pins, like these clover extra-sharps.
4. Labels to keep all of your pieces organized. Check these out!
5. 50wt Cotton Thread or 80wt Cottonized-Polyester Thread in a neutral color.
6. Fabric scissors, snippy scissors for thread, and a seam ripper.
These tools and notions are optional. You won't absolutely need them for your project, but you might find that they improve the accuracy and precision of your piecing and pressing!
1. Wool pressing mat (affiliate link), for super flat seams
2. Quilting glue stick (or any small, washable glue stick) for our stitch-and-flip corners.
3. Sew Straight Guide, Diagonal 1/4" seam tape, or painter's tape for line-less diagonal seams.
4. Right Angle Ruler to aid with drawing and/or cutting diagonal lines and pieces.
5. Flatter smoothing spray to aid with pressing.
